For more than 70 years, Calvary Lutheran Church & School has been blessed to serve families on the south side of Indianapolis, providing a high-quality, Christ-centered education in a caring and welcoming environment. Located on more than 15 beautiful acres, our campus gives students the space and opportunities to learn, grow, explore, and thrive.
Since our founding in 1950, Calvary has remained committed to partnering with families to nurture the whole child—academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally. We believe every child is uniquely created and loved by God, with individual gifts, talents, and purpose. Our goal is to help students discover those gifts while developing a lifelong love of learning, a strong foundation of faith, and a heart for serving others.
From Preschool through 8th Grade, Calvary provides students with challenging academics, meaningful relationships, and a supportive environment where they are truly known and valued. Our dedicated teachers and staff take the time to know each student personally, offering encouragement and individualized attention while helping them grow in confidence, independence, and faith.
Learning at Calvary extends far beyond the classroom. Students have opportunities to participate in athletics, fine arts, STEM, clubs, leadership, service projects, and other extracurricular activities designed to help them explore their interests, develop new skills, build friendships, and discover the many ways God has gifted them.
