Sam Troemel

Sam has been at Calvary since 2017. While originally called as the Youth and Family Director, Sam was ordained through his training in the SMP program and now serves as the Youth and Family Pastor while also overseeing Calvary’s contemporary worship service. A West Lafayette, Indiana native, Sam attended Concordia University Chicago where he studied Christian Education and Elementary Education. It was in Chicago where he met his wife, Molly, who serves as Calvary’s junior high social studies teacher. Sam and Molly have been married since 2015 and have two children together. Outside of ministry, Sam enjoys taking on house projects, rooting for his Chicago Bears, and traveling with his family.
